After a full spring of his old bike tiring him out and needing to stop to rest, Dad finally decided the time had come for a new bike. Mason took Chloe and Dad to look for bike prices at Toys-R-Us. He saw a lot of cool bikes including Tony Hawk and Hummer and Mongoose. Mason thought they were probably a little too expensive, and he decided to go to Meijer for another look. At the end of the row, sitting on the floor with no price tag, was this blue beauty. Mason saw it, sat on it and said, "his one has a lightening bolt, I think I can like it."
When we heard that it was on sale for $39.99 we decided to take it home. We took off the training wheels (Mason hasn't used them for a couple years) and we installed his kick stand. Then after a practice run in the drive way we decided to do the mile . . .
Mason is fast and doesn't get tired!
